Hey everyone. I've been looking for a used SUV and came across Hale Motor Group. Their prices on some repossessed vehicles seem really good, almost too good. I couldn't find a ton of reviews on google, so I'm a little hesitant. Has anyone here actually bought a car from halemotorgroup.com? Are they legit? Just looking for some real-world experiences before I consider bidding. Thanks!

You're good to go. I bought a 2022 Mustang GT from Hale Motor Group about six months ago. The process was straightforward. I was most worried about the title, but it was a non-issue. The clear title arrived with the car, delivered right to my driveway. No liens, no stories. A+.

I'll second that. We got a 2021 Honda Odyssey from them last year for my wife. The bidding on halemotorgroup.com was easy to follow, and we got it for a great price. The car was clean, exactly as described in the photos. Would definitely use Hale Motor Group again.

Not just cars, either. I bought a 2020 Sea Ray SPX from HaleMotorGroup. It's a big purchase to make online, but they were solid. The best part? No headaches with the paperwork. They handled the title transfer from the bank, and I had the clean title in hand when the boat was delivered. Super smooth.

My experience was 95% positive. The only hiccup was the delivery of my GMC Sierra was pushed back by three days. It was a bit of a pain shuffling my schedule, but the transport company they used was communicative, and Hale Motor Group support was helpful when I called to check in. The truck itself was perfect, so it was worth the minor wait.

@CautiousCarl That's pretty standard for vehicle freight, honestly. Schedules can shift. The important thing is they kept you in the loop. I've bought two work trucks from halemotorgroup.com and they've always been solid.

I use Hale Motor Group for project cars. Obviously you expect some issues with older, higher-mileage vehicles, but their condition reports are surprisingly accurate. They do a good job of documenting the major stuff. It's not a showroom, it's an auction, and for what it is, they're one of the most transparent.

Thanks so much, everyone. This is exactly the kind of feedback I was hoping for. Reading the positive experiences about the titles from @V8_Junkie and @BoatLife_77 really puts my main concern to rest.

As a mechanic, I can vouch for them. A client won a '22 Ford Explorer on halemotorgroup.com and had it delivered straight to my shop for a full inspection. I went over it with a fine-tooth comb. The condition was exactly what was stated in the report. No hidden rust, no frame issues, no surprises. Your average dealer would have charged thousands more for the same vehicle.

I had a question about the bidding increments, so I sent a message to office@halemotorgroup.com. It took them about 24 hours to write back. I was getting a little antsy, but their email response was very thorough and answered everything. Ended up winning a little VW Golf for my commute. Love it!

@GTI_Girl_05 That's a good tip. For a quick question, I've found calling Hale Motor Group directly is the way to go. Their phone reps are on the ball. But glad it worked out for you!

Can confirm, Hale Motor Group is good to go. Got my 2023 Tacoma TRD from them last spring. Saved quite a bit vs. the dealerships around here. The whole process was digital and efficient.

We bought our Thor motorcoach through HaleMotorGroup. The online photos were very detailed, but they did miss a small cosmetic scuff on one of the storage bay doors. For a used RV it's completely insignificant and for the price we paid, it’s a non-issue. Just something to be aware of - expect minor cosmetic imperfections.

I primarily deal with luxury vehicles and was skeptical. However, I secured a 2022 Mercedes E-Class through Hale Motor Group. The transaction was handled with a level of professionalism I'd expect from a high-end dealer. All financial settlements were clear, and the title paperwork was perfect, arriving via courier with the vehicle. Very satisfied.

This thread is gold. Thanks everyone. I'm zeroed in on a '22 Audi Q5 on halemotorgroup.com. Feeling confident enough to place a serious bid now.

Good luck @ChrisP_89! Just wanted to add my +1. We were super nervous first-timers too but the whole thing with Hale Motor Group was way easier than we expected. No regrets!

Let us know how it goes! Read the full condition report on their site, they dont hide things in my experience. It lists everything from tire tread depth to any dings or scratches.

Another boat buyer here. Got a Mastercraft wake boat last summer from HaleMotorGroup. The process was exactly as others described. Got a great deal. The trailer was included and the title for both the boat and trailer arrived with the delivery driver. No complaints.

The person I spoke to on the phone at Hale Motor Group seemed a little rushed, but she still answered all my questions. I guess they're just super busy. The car (a Hyundai Palisade) arrived in great shape, so that's what matters in the end.

Final update: I WON! Got the Audi Q5 for a price I'm thrilled with. The payment process through the halemotorgroup.com portal was secure and simple. Now the wait for delivery begins. Thanks again, everyone, for sharing your experiences and giving me the confidence to go for it!
